Across Africa and the African Diaspora, a New Vision for Reproductive Care Emerges

Lauren Arrington, PhD, associate professor at the Berkley School of Nursing and the Susan H. Mayer Endowed Professor in Health Equity, organized “Centering Liberation: Partnering Across Africa and the African Diaspora to Reimagine Reproductive Care,” a four-day symposium at Georgetown University’s Capitol Campus that convened more than 80 participants from across Africa and the African diaspora.

Women’s Health Alumna Expands Access to Care in Underserved Texas Communities

The path to becoming a women’s health nurse practitioner led Rebecca “Becca” Levy (G’26), MS, APRN, WHNP-BC, to the WHNP Program at the Berkley School of Nursing, a fulfilling academic experience, and to work at a federally qualified health care center.
