Counseling and Psychiatric Service (CAPS)

CAPS is the primary emotional and mental health service for students at Georgetown University. Available primarily on the Hilltop Campus with a satellite center on the Capitol Campus.

Student Health Center

The Student Health Center works to keep students healthy to help maximize their educational experience and thrive while at Georgetown University. It is staffed by primary care physicians and nurse practitioners with particular interest and experience in college health. Locations on the Hilltop and Capitol campuses.

Student Outreach & Support (SOS) maintains a robust “safety net” for students who experience complex, personal difficulties, crises or distress that impacts their social, personal, and/or academic stability.

Georgetown Emergency Response Medical Service (GERMS)

GERMS is a volunteer, student-run emergency medical service providing those experiencing a medical emergency in the Georgetown, Burleith, Foxhall, or Glover Park communities with transport to a nearby hospital. Call 202-687-4357 in case of an emergency.

The Office of the Student Ombuds (OSO) provides a confidential, independent, impartial and informal resource for all Main Campus undergraduate and graduate students. The Ombuds does not advocate for any individual point of view, but works to promote a fair process for all.
