Nurse Educators Selected for Health Equity Influencers Program

Three educators selected to join the Health Equity Influencers Program

(June 14, 2024) — Three School of Nursing educators were selected to join 2024-25 cohort of the Health Equity Influencers Program at Mercy University School of Nursing: Debora M. Dole, PhD, CNM, FACNM, professor of nursing and Vice Dean for Academic and Faculty Affairs; Mara G. Evans, DNP, CNM, DNP, assistant professor, and Heather M. Bradford, PhD, CNM, FACNM, PhD, instructor.

The program is an intensive residency designed to strengthen nursing faculty’s preparedness to educate the newest generation of nurses through the lens of health equity. The 6-month, 40-hour hybrid program, provides nurse educators with the requisite skills to assess, recognize, recommend and create equity-minded solutions that influence health outcomes.
