Dr. Janet Wulf serves as an Assistant Professor in the Berkley School of Nursing at Georgetown University. She completed her graduate education at the University of Maryland, Baltimore, earning an MS in Nursing and a Doctor of Nursing Practice. During her tenure at UMB, she taught across BSN and MSN entry-into-practice programs and directed the master’s entry into nursing program, leading major curriculum redesign and advancing a holistic admission process.
With 18 years of experience spanning critical care nursing, palliative care, and nursing education, Dr. Wulf brings clinical expertise and thoughtful pedagogical practice to her work in both clinical and classroom settings. Her teaching centers on developing nurses who are clinically proficient, reflective, and grounded in human-centered care. She is particularly interested in helping students connect classroom learning with nursing practice and in cultivating the personal and professional resources needed to act with skill and compassion in the face of suffering. Dr. Wulf is dedicated to preparing emerging nurses to recognize and address inequity to improve the health of all patients and to shape the systems that they will work in.
