The Berkley School of Nursing offers degree-granting programs at the bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral levels. Our on-campus and distance-based, online nursing programs emphasize research and scholarship and are grounded in a social justice framework. Our commitment to nursing is infused with the Jesuit values of caring for the whole person — cura personalis — and serving the common good.
We offer three program options for those interested in careers in nursing: traditional BSN, Accelerated BSN and Master’s Entry to Nursing. Choose the pathway that’s right for you.

The Berkley School of Nursing currently offers the Doctor of Nurse Anesthesia Practice (DNAP), the Post-Bachelor’s (BSN) Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP), the Post-Master’s (MS) Executive Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP), and the Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Nursing. Georgetown celebrated the opening of its new educational hub at 111 Massachusetts Ave. in downtown Washington, D.C., on the university’s Capitol Campus on Oct. 20. The new building is home to the Berkley School of Nursing’s PhD in Nursing and Doctor of Nursing Practice programs.
