Sarah Bell

Sarah Bell, MPH, BSN, RN, is an Instructor at Georgetown University Berkley School of Nursing.

Ms. Bell is an accomplished nursing educator and public health leader with over two decades of diverse clinical and academic experience. Since joining Georgetown University’s School of Nursing in 2016, she has served as an Instructor in both undergraduate and graduate programs, specializing in Emergency Department nursing, School Health, Leadership, and Public Health.

Her teaching portfolio includes courses such as Nursing Care of Vulnerable Populations, Public Health Nursing, Health Promotion and Integration Seminar, consistently earning top evaluations from students. Sarah’s commitment to nursing education is deeply rooted in her clinical background, which spans critical care, public health, and K–12 school nursing. She integrates real-world insights into her pedagogy, fostering critical thinking, compassion, and ethical leadership among her students.

Her teaching philosophy is grounded in cura personalis—caring for the whole person—and she is dedicated to creating inclusive, reflective learning environments that support the holistic development of future nurse leaders.
