Diane Davis, DNP, RN

Diane Davis, DNP RN is an Associate Professor in the School of Nursing. She teaches across the undergraduate and graduate nursing programs with a focus on pediatric nursing, leadership and professional formation. Her teaching incorporates student wellness curriculum infusion through the Engelhard Project. Dr. Davis was the 2019-2023 recipient of the Susan H. Meyer Professorship in Health Equity. She has received the Excellence in Education Award from Tau Chapter, Sigma Theta Tau International, and is a GUMC Teaching Academy Principal Member. Dr. Davis leads an academic/community partnership workforce development program engaging Georgetown nursing students and Mary’s Center Briya medical assistant students. She serves on the editorial panel for the Journal of School Nursing. Dr. Davis’ areas of interest include child and family health, school health and nursing education.
