Amy Bronick, DNP, APRN, FNP-C, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from the University of Virginia (UVA) and a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from Yale University. She began her nursing career at the UVA Health System on an acute-care neurosurgery and otolaryngology unit, where she served as a preceptor for new-graduate and travel nurses. Dr. Bronick obtained a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree at Georgetown University (GU). Her publication is titled "Reducing Patient Wait Times in a Primary Care Setting to Improve Patient Satisfaction."
Dr. Bronick is the founder of the National Student Leadership Conference (NSLC) on Nursing, a pre-college program that helps high school students discover their passion for a career in nursing. She continues to be involved with the NSLC as a guest lecturer for the medical programs and a mentor for staff members. In addition to teaching at GU, Dr. Bronick currently works as a FNP for Matrix Medical Network, conducting comprehensive home health assessments. Her previous experience as a FNP includes working in family medicine, where she served as a preceptor for NP and medical students.
Dr. Bronick is the Faculty Director for the Tanzania Healthcare Experiential Learning Initiative. She is proud to contribute her experience from previous global health initiatives conducted in Guatemala and Nicaragua.
Dr. Bronick teaches several courses in the Pre-Licensure Programs. She is the Assistant Program Director for the Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing (ABSN) Program. Dr. Bronick is dedicated to advancing nursing education and practice through mentorship, leadership, and innovative approaches to patient care.
