Stephan Davis Elected to American Academy of Nursing Fellow Selection Committee

(October 2, 2025) — Stephan Davis, DNP, MHSA, FACHE, ANEF, FAAN, executive director of Leadership, Policy and DNP Education at Georgetown’s Berkley School of Nursing, has been elected to the American Academy of Nursing (AAN) Fellow Selection Committee.
The AAN is an honorific society and a federally focused policy organization. As a policy organization, the AAN utilizes the expertise of its Fellows to generate sound policy solutions to the most complex issues facing health and care delivery to achieve the organization’s vision of healthy lives for all people.
In addition to his service to the Fellow Selection Committee, Davis will chair the AAN’s Equity, Diversity, and Inclusivity Committee. He will assume his new duties with the committees at the conclusion of the AAN Health Policy Conference October 18.
Additional Georgetown nursing faculty serve with the AAN, including Nurse Executives in Residence Susan Grant, DNP, RN, NEA-BC, FAAN, and Natalia Cineas, DNP, MSM-N, MBA, RN, NEA-BC, FADLN, FAAN. Grant is an AAN board member. Cineas was re-elected to serve on the Fellow Selection Committee.
Earlier this year, the American Academy of Nursing announced the selection of four Georgetown educators and researchers for its class of 2025 Academy Fellows in recognition of their “substantial contributions to health and health care.” They are Intima Alrimawi, PhD, MSN, MPH, BSN; Debra A. Kosko, DNP, MN, FNP-BC, FAANP; Kwuan Paruchabutr, DNP, FNP, WHNP, CNM, FACNM, FNAP; and Melody R. Wilkinson, DNP, APRN, FNP-BC, FAANP, will be inducted into the academy this month.
The four join other Georgetown AAN Fellows including Roberta Waite, EdD, RN, PMHCNS, ANEF, FADLN, FAAN; Karan Kverno, PhD, PMHNP-BC, FAANP, FAAN; Carol Taylor, PhD, MSN, RN, FAAN; and Edilma Yearwood, PhD, RN, PMHCNS-BC, FAAN.
