Purvi Patel (G’24), DNP, delivered the student address. She described her journey from the halls of community college to her doctoral program before encouraging her fellow graduates to go out and spread the Jesuit values they learned in their programs in their practices.

“We must hold steady and continue to do what we do best: adapt to adversity and bolster the nursing profession,” said Patel. “We will take the vision and values of Georgetown with us in every space we go into. We are nurses who will promote social justice and health equity, and we are here to shape the future of nursing.”
