Paruchabutr, Zschaebitz Inducted as Class of 2025 National Academies of Practice Distinguished Fellows

(March 17, 2025) — Two School of Nursing faculty members, Kwuan Paruchabutr, DNP, FNP, WHNP, CNM, FACNM, assistant professor, and Elke Zschaebitz, DNP, APRN, FNP-BC, associate professor, were inducted into the National Academies of Practice (NAP). Paruchabutr and Zschaebitz were inducted as Distinguished Fellows in the Nursing Academy.

Members of the Class of 2025 were inducted into the National Academies of Practice during the Annual Induction Banquet and Awards Ceremony in Washington, DC, on March 15, 2025.

Membership in the National Academies of Practice is an honor extended to those who have excelled in their profession and are dedicated to advancing interprofessional education, scholarship, research, practice, and policy in support of interprofessional care.

NAP is a non-profit organization founded in 1981 to advise governmental bodies on our healthcare system. Distinguished practitioners and scholars are elected by their peers from multiple different health professions to join the only interprofessional group of healthcare practitioners and scholars dedicated to supporting affordable, accessible, coordinated quality healthcare for all.
