CCNE Reaccreditation: Invitation for Third-Party Comments
Georgetown University School of Nursing & Health Studies is preparing for its reaccreditation process with the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE). The specific programs at Georgetown under review are:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Master of Science in Nursing (MS)
– AG-ACNP
– CNL
– FNP
– NM/WHNP
– WHNP
Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
Post-Graduate Certificates
Virtual On-Site Review
Between March 29-31, 2021, CCNE will conduct a virtual on-site review.
Invitation for Third-Party Comments
From CCNE: Written third-party comments regarding programs must be received by CCNE by no later than 21 days prior to the first day of the scheduled on-site evaluation. [NOTE: Comments pertaining to Georgetown’s reaccreditation must be received by March 8, 2021, which is 21 days before the first day of the on-site evaluation.]
Only signed comments are accepted by CCNE. CCNE shares third-party comments with members of the evaluation team prior to the visit, but at no time during the review process are these comments shared with the program. During its review of the program, the evaluation team considers third-party comments that relate to the accreditation standards. All third-party comments submitted to CCNE must be written in English, consistent with CCNE’s policy on Conduct of Business in English.
