Bachelor of Science in Nursing Program
Conway Scholarship
About: The Conway Scholarship enables eligible Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) students who qualify for and would otherwise need a federally subsidized loan to instead graduate from nursing school with little or no student loan debt. That life-changing financial support makes a nursing education more accessible to eligible students concerned about accruing student loan debt. Awards average between $3,000 and $5,000.
Eligibility: Students eligible for this award will be determined by Georgetown’s Office of Student Financial Services.
How to Apply: Students do not need to apply for this scholarship.
AHEC
About: The DC Area Health Education Center (AHEC) at Georgetown University Medical Center is accepting applications for its Primary Care Scholarship Program. AHEC focuses on workforce development with an emphasis on health equity to improve the health of people accessing care at community health centers (CHC), Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC), or other primary care centers.
Eligibility: Any student in the first three to four APRN clinical semesters who is planning to work in primary care may apply. Subsequently, if your placement now or in the future is at a FQHC, School Based Clinic, or Indian Health Service or corrections facility, you may be eligible for a $1,000 stipend. As an AHEC scholar, you must complete 80 hours of clinical (which you will be doing anyway) and 80 hours of didactic. Upon documenting the completion of those, you are considered an AHEC scholar. You will receive an AHEC certificate and are encouraged to add your participation to your resume.

Magis Scholarship
About: These $19,500 awards recognize students who embrace and reflect the Berkley School of Nursing’s commitment to health equity, social justice and service to others. Magis is a Latin adverb for “more.” As a core Jesuit value, Magis is being generous of spirit and doing more for the greater good. The Magis Scholarships lift up students who commit to excellence by building upon and promoting the art and science of nursing through humility and justice.
Eligibility: The Magis Scholarship application is open to students who apply for entry in the Fall 2026 cohort.
How to Apply: To be considered for this award, please answer both of the following essay prompts in a single Word document and email it to gusonawardsandscholarships@georgetown.edu no later than June 15, 2026. Responses must be 350-400 words, double-spaced, 12-point Times New Roman font, and addressed to the Magis Review Committee. Students should NOT include any identifying information within the body of their essay or on the cover sheet. Submissions will be assigned an identifying number, and scholarship committee members will conduct blind reviews. Essays submitted after the deadline will not be accepted.

Berkley Scholarship
About: Thanks to a significant gift from the Berkley Family Foundation, the Berkley Scholarship will provide $20,000 to selected Accelerated Bachelor of Science in Nursing students.
Eligibility: Students need not apply for this scholarship. Awardees will be determined based on information shared during the admissions process regarding previous academic performance and the need for financial support. About: The Johnson-Turpin Scholars in Honor of the Class of 1969 Endowed Fund was established in 2018 by Luci Baines Johnson (H’18) — daughter of President Lyndon B. Johnson and Lady Bird Johnson — and her husband, Ian Turpin, who have generously made a $1 million gift to create this fund. These awards are typically between $20,000-$30,000.
Eligibility: All BSON graduate nursing students (MSN, PGC, DNP, DNAP) who are currently enrolled in are eligible to apply.
