Amy Bronick, DNP, APRN, FNP-C, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) with a Bachelor's of Science in Nursing (BSN) from the University of Virginia (UVA) and a Master's of Science in Nursing (MSN) from Yale University. She began her nursing career at the UVA Health System on an acute-care neurosurgery and otolaryngology unit, where she served as a preceptor for new-graduate and travel nurses.
Dr. Bronick is the founder of the National Student Leadership Conference (NSLC) on Nursing, a pre-college program that helps high school students discover their passion for a career in nursing. She continues to be involved with the NSLC as a guest lecturer for the medical programs and a mentor for staff members.
Dr. Bronick currently works as a FNP for Matrix Medical Network, conducting comprehensive home health assessments. Her previous experience as a FNP includes working in family medicine, where she served as a preceptor for NP and medical students.
Dr. Bronick obtained a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree at Georgetown University. Her publication is titled "Reducing Patient Wait Times in a Primary Care Setting to Improve Patient Satisfaction."
