Mirabal-Beltran Selected for N-SISS Fellowship Program

(December 20, 2024) — Roxanne Mirabal-Beltran, PhD, RN, assistant professor in the Georgetown University School of Nursing, has been named an innovator for the Nursing Science Incubator for Social Determinants of Health (SDOH) Solutions (N-SISS) Fellowship.

Mirabal-Beltran is part of the inaugural cohort of ten nurse scientists and scientists in aligned fields from across the country who were recently selected. The Fellowship reflects their innovative research focus and demonstrated commitment to eliminating health and health care inequities in the U.S. through the lens of social determinants of health. The N-SISS program is co-directed by Drs. Vincent Guilamo-Ramos and Jason Farley within the Institute for Policy Solutions at Johns Hopkins School of Nursing.
